Thank you for the lights, the 15 watt downlight is great, its the first resonably priced (under $100) fitting that is a true replacement for a 50w hallogen and I suggest you advertise this fact greatly! Several other fittings and bulbs I have tried (up to $120 each) have claimed that they are as bright as a 50w, but simply are not. It would be great if the fitting was availible in white, but this is not going to effect my choice in purchasing them. I will order more in the next few weeks, and please feel free to point any Canberra customers in our direction if they wish to see your 15w, 9w or 4w fittings/bulbs.

Just a quick one.... not one to come back to comment on products that I buy online but I felt the need because I had been to a few retail out lets looking @ led lighting... hardly any one stocked them and many said they don't sell them because they are no good. So, I'm here to tell you if you have 50w halogen and replace with cree 3x3 led down lights you will be over the moon with the results. The light is very bright but has a sense of softness to it. Amazingly cheap to run and stylish... glad I made the switch for sure no regrets what so ever.

I purchased a 4 pack CREE 4 watt GU-10 LED globes from your site for a fraction of the price I could find locally or elsewhere. Prompt delivery and fantastic results!!! The recent electricity bill has me very excited and I am back to purchase more and eventually fit out the whole house. Long life and cost effectiveness were my main criteria but I am extremely pleased with the warmth and angle of the lights as I had received much negative feedback from friends regarding the colour and angle of LED's but decided to give them a go after browsing through your site. It's all good news. Tried the GU10 warm white 3x3 downlights. Light is good, not quite 50W halogen. Brightness is the same directly under the lamp, the spread is not quite as wide. For most rooms it's not noticeable in real use. For the kitchen, I'll probably install two more fittings and have 6 lamps instead of the 4 halogens.

And now the savings. I measured the power consumption and for a typical room with 4 x 50W halogens with transformers, the consumption was 236 watts, which falls to 42 with the GU10 3x3W LED's installed. Plug that into every room in the house and allowing for actual hours per day they're on, I should save almost 3000kWh per year, translating to around $700.

Excellent LED light, they have a nice warm colour. We have been using 25 of them for a couple of months now. CREE has a reputation as the best manufacturer of LED globes and these globes are the latest technology. You'll find some of the cheaper globes other people sell are based on older technlogy. I have to say I received the best customer service I have ever experienced. We had a problem with our original globes (not CREEs)and LED Central got back to us almost immediately on a Sunday and worked out real good solution.

This email is to confirm that I safely received your consignment of three Cree 9W LED MR16 Downlights just after Christmas 2009.

I was very happy with the price of these items, which was less than half that of the other suppliers I had contacted. I was also very pleased with the professionalism of your service and with the speed at which my order was dispatched and delivered. It took me about 15 minutes to successfully replace the three iron core transformers for my existing down lights with a single new OSRAM Redback transformer and to install the new Cree lights into the ceiling fittings.

While I had been worried that these lamps might not delver the light output of my old 50W halogen lamps, this has not proved to be an issue at all. Indeed I am much happier with the warm white light provided by these LEDs. Overall I am very happy with our decision to make this purchase.
