I believe there is a newer version that is out and is it the exact size of the Halogen. I purchased these for my outdoor ligting and the globe is
slightly too long. So exact sizing is important to me.

Just bought one of these LED lamps to compare with my 50 Watt halogens I am trying to replace. In terms of physical size they are a direct
replacement for the 50 Watt halogen. (a few mm longer in the body that should not worry anyone) In terms of colour temperature they are probably very
slightly whiter than the halogen but have at least the same degrees spread.rnrnIn terms of brightness - they are very close to a 50 Watt halogen. I
think they are very slightly less bright - my wife says they are the same. You might want to believe her rather than me!!rnrnAnyway off to order
